Overall, I still feel that the relative tempi chosen for vertain mensurations don"t always do justice to the proportions of some movements, while some Masses are taken at such a clip that the indicidueal details are skate over, and the cumulative weight of events is lost sight of. On the credit side are the motets, the Missa Au travail suis and the Requiem all are typical of the composer at his best, and find the Clerks on fine form.
