"An unusual instrumentation (...) but it works triumphantly. Some of it is as insubstantial as insect chatter and bird cries, but the voice mutters and growls strange messages and the bass and squeezebox pull otherwise abstract ideas into convincing shapes. No hint of a programme in the titles -just 'Density I-V'- but they're all the more dramatic and emotionally involving for that."
